Peyton Manning & His Colts Bring Home the Money for James Patrick Sports 5* Pot of Gold NFL Game of the Year

 On November 8th the undefeated (9-0) Penn State Nittany Lions dreams of a National Championship were TKO'd by the (8 1/2)point underdog Iowa Hawkeyes as the Black & Gold of Head Coach Kirk Ferentz pulled off the upset (24-23) with a game ending Field Goal that sent historic Kinnick Stadium into a frenzy. The fans in Iowa City weren't the only ones celebrating as the clients of James Patrick Sports were in a frenzy themselves as the Big Man released his 5* Pot of Gold Big Ten Game of the Year on the Iowa Hawkeyes. On Sunday evening in San Diego Peyton Manning's 35th game winning fourth quarter drive led his Indianapolis Colts team that was determined not to take a 4th straight loss to the Chargers to a (23-20) victory. Adam Vinatieri's 22nd career game winning Field Goal from 51 yards on the game's final play locked up the win and again the clients of James Patrick Sports celebrated as his 5* Pot of Gold NFL Game of the Year selection cashed a winning ticket. Where is the Love for the NCAA Football's Mid Major Schools ?

Its time for someone to step up and be a voice for all the great accomplishments of this country's Mid Major Schools. The discussions of potential undefeated non BCS Schools (Boise State, Utah, Ball State) receiving BCS Bowl Invitations is comical because when the BCS Bowl Game selections are made the biggest factor will be the amount of money to be made on ticket sales. Who is going to believe that the Fiesta Bowl for example will select the MAC's Undefeated Ball State Cardinals over a two loss Ohio State Buckeye team - - - PLEASE! Another annoying topic is the Heisman Trophy Selections as the QB's in the Big XII have seemed to box out any other viable candidates. Just take a look at the accomplishments of Ball State's QB Nate Davis. He has his team undefeated and his offense is almost automatically going to post 40+ points every game. Somebody --- PLEASE --- Give some love to the Mid Major Programs. They have bills to pay to and why not answer the questions surrounding their competitivenees to the Big Boys because of the so called inferior competition. They would love the chance to be a Prime Time Player, so would this handicapper. Line em up and play the games.

What Goes Around Comes Around - Phil !

An emotional Phillip Fulmer, with his wife at his side and tearful, angry players surrounding him, announced that he had accepted Tennessee's decision that this will be his last season as the football coach. Fulmer, 58, is being forced out after 17 years as Tennessee's Head Coach, a run that included a National Championship and a 105-51 record. Well Phil - What goes around - Comes around !!! Little do people remember how you stabbed the great Johnny Majors in the back to steal his job away like a thief in the night. That's right - a thief in the night. I vividly remember my nephew who was an All-American Pole Vaulter for the Volunteers 1991 National Championship Track Team and a close friend of Johnny Majors son telling me of coach Majors needing emergency Open Heart Surgery and in his abscence Fulmer was named in charge of the Volunteers Football Team. After about a month of success in the replacement of Coach Majors, Fulmer spread the word to powerful alumni and school officials that if he wasn't given the Tennessee Volunteer Football Head Coaching position , he and six assistants would be leaving the program and seek employment elsewhere. Like fools they caved in and terminated the very classy Majors for this country bumpkin ! I respect Peyton Manning remarks that Coach Fulmer will always be his coach but Peyton has a quality that Phil,(he hates to be called Phil), Fulmer knows nothing about  - Loyalty.
